Thank you

Today, we celebrate Principal Appreciation Day and take a moment to recognize the incredible work and dedication of our principal, Tammy Caldwell.

Tammy has been a guiding force for our schools, providing unwavering support, mentorship, and leadership. Her commitment to our students, staff, and the success of our schools is truly inspiring.

We are grateful for her tireless efforts and the positive impact she has made on our school community.

Here are a few comments shared by our alternative school staff:

"I feel seen, heard, and trusted...Praise and criticism from her comes from experience and always with respect....Most of all, I see her showing up for the kids. I think it's very easy for administrators to get caught up in the politics, policies, and the thousands of relationships a principal must maintain and I've seen many of them lose sight of the young people we serve. Tammy serves her students and It has and will manifest into improving their outcomes."

"Tammy is amazing. She is the warmest, most engaging and sensitive leader. I am so thankful for her grace, sense of humor, as well as her down to earth grit and go get 'em mentality. She is one of a kind, and I so look forward to working with her more. Love you Tammy!!"

"Your guidance and encouragement have made such an impact on me in my role here... Your trust and confidence in my abilities have given me the freedom to contribute meaningfully to our school. Thank you for making me feel valued. I think we all agree that your kindness and compassion for us and the students is truly inspiring. Even in the middle of the challenges and pressures that this job brings, you approach everyday with a positive attitude! We couldn't have designed a better principal for this program and we all feel very blessed to have you, we love you girl!"

No matter how big or small a school is, the principal sets the tone and the focus. We know our little school programs are guided by a Golden Rule-type philosophy and interest in trying to do what is best for children. Keep up the good work, Principal Tammy Caldwell!
